This smoothie tastes like dessert but is loaded with nutrients! The banana and dates will give you an energy boost, you’ll pack in some protein from the almond butter and milk, and cacao nibs are rich in micronutrients, antioxidants, and fiber.
- 1 cup almond milk (or soy/hemp milk)
- 1 ripe banana, frozen
- 2-4 Medjool dates
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp cacao nibs
- ½ tsp of cinnamon
- ½ scoop protein powder (optional)
Blend until smooth, and enjoy!
